coming together

the new sunroom is finally coming together. we should have a finished product, as far as the work is concerned, by early next week. the painting may not get done for another 2 weeks as we are waiting to hear from a painter.

here is a view from the front of the house (with my zoom lens which i later switched):
This is the TV stand I found at The Brass Exchange. It is exactly what I was looking for and the right price. It's a little more distressed than we prefer but since everything else in the room will be very solid and plain I think it will work well.
More views:

since we were able to create a new access to the stairs that go to the bonus room (formerly emptying into the garage) i feel like i just got 2 new rooms. it is SO AWESOME to be able to get to the bonus room from a central part of the house. buxton has been very excited about this too. however the stairs are steep and not something he will have full access to for awhile, hence the gate.
true buxton style, this is what he thinks of my gates, yes that is plural, as in 2 gates:
white i was snapping pics inside, i took a couple of 2 lovely plants from my sweetie.
this one is like my beautiful, sweet baby girl. delicate, vibrant and sweet with a "take my breath away" pitter patter of the heart.
this one is like my fun-loving 2 year old boy. captivating, big and strong, and a little on the wild side.
little muffin and wild man. not exactly the expressions i was hoping for but i'll take it.
just wanted you all to see how big this baby is. she's about 16 lbs. and no she's not packin heat, it's a cloth diaper. yes i am cloth diapering some, and yes i know that doesn't help my overwhelming laundry chores. but it does help with how much garbage we have to take to the dump. yes we take our own trash not being in city limits and all.
my little muffin right after waking up at 8:30am....whoohooo! that was 13 hours of sleep for her last night. wowzers.
buxton also slept until 8:30 as well and had hair to prove what a good nights rest he had:
this is him saying, "all aboard!" straight from dinosaur train...he's still obsessed.
life with these 2 has felt like it's coming together a little more in the past week. state of mind goes a long way and i've been more aware of my state of mind and how i let it affect me. not carrying around the stress of work has been a big part of this. being more disciplined about exercising has helped too. and i think i'm just getting a little more organized as each week goes by as well as settling into more of a routine that works for the kids.
next week i'm getting much over-do help from some house keepers. we are starting with a deep clean and will proceed on an every-other-week basis. i've alway been adamant about cleaning my own house but it's finally time to "throw in that towel". the extra time i'll have will be worth every pretty little penny i think.
and since quality time with family is priceless i hope to have lots more of it.
